At this time you can upload Orthophoto and DEM GeoTiffs. With this new functionality you will be able to create custom applications using your own data, layered with the Melown and 3rd party data sets that we offer.

The process is simple and explained below.

Step 1 – Login to your account, go to the ‘datasets’ tab on the left side of the screen, select the file you would like to upload and simply drag-and-drop it into the grey area near the top of the page.

The process bar will appear once the upload has started.

Step 2 – Once the file has finished uploading you will be prompted to export your data set to either “Terrain” or “Imagery,” (export to “feature” will be available in the coming weeks). Once you have selected where to export your dataset you will get another process bar, that once completed will give you access to your dataset.

Now your upload will appear in the list within the selected resource category. Once this simple process is finished you will be able to start using your dataset as a layer while creating any and all of your maps.
